These License Terms govern every model ("Model") purchased or downloaded from the FlexCut3D Store. The license type for each Model (Personal or Commercial) is shown on its product page and is fixed at the time of your purchase — later changes to a Model's listing never change what you bought.
Models are licensed, not sold. Buying a Model gives you the rights below; ownership of the design remains with FlexCut3D or the Model's creator.
Personal License
If a Model is sold under a Personal license, you may:
- Open and modify the Model in FlexCut3D
- Laser-cut it for yourself: home use, gifts, prototypes, and learning
- Keep and re-download the file forever with your account
You may not:
- Sell, or otherwise commercially distribute, physical items cut from the Model
- Resell, share, publish, or redistribute the design file itself, in original or modified form
- Use the Model to create a competing template or template store
Commercial License
If a Model is sold under a Commercial license, you may do everything in the Personal license, plus:
- Sell physical items you laser-cut from the Model — in unlimited quantities, in shops, markets, or online (e.g., Etsy)
- Use the Model for client and freelance work
You may still not:
- Resell, share, publish, or redistribute the design file itself, in original or modified form
- Sell or give away the Model (or a derivative of it) as a digital file or template
- Use the Model to create a competing template or template store
General Terms (all licenses)
- One buyer, one license. Licenses are personal to the purchasing account and are not transferable. Team members who need the file need their own copy.
- Free models are licensed under the same terms shown on their product page.
- No warranty on manufacturing outcomes. You are responsible for verifying dimensions, materials, and safe operation of your equipment before production. See our Terms of Service.
- Refunds revoke the license and download access — see the Refund Policy.
- Violation of these terms may result in revocation of your license and account termination.
